How Product Nerve AI handles your data, your idea, and your identity documents

Putting an unlaunched startup idea into any platform means trusting that platform with something that matters. Here's exactly how Product Nerve AI handles what you give us, in plain language, without the legal phrasing.

Your identity documents are handled completely separately from everything else. When you verify your identity during onboarding, that document goes into a distinct, restricted part of our systems, access controlled, logged, and never touched by anything outside its narrow verification purpose. It is never sent to any AI model, never used as context for any generation, and never appears anywhere in your workspace or projects. This isn't a policy we hope holds, it's built structurally into how our systems are separated from each other.

Your project content is isolated by workspace, and further isolated by project. Nobody outside your workspace can access your projects, full stop, that's enforced at the database level, not just in the interface. And within your own workspace, content from one project never leaks into another as AI context: when you're generating a document in Project B, the system genuinely cannot see what's inside Project A, even though they're both yours.

Your idea is never used to train AI models. When you run validation or generate a document, relevant content from your project is sent to our AI providers, Anthropic and Google, specifically to produce your output. Under our agreements with them, that content is used only to deliver the result to you, and is not used to train their models. Nobody else's account benefits from what you put into yours. See: Does Product Nerve AI use my idea to train its AI models?

Your files are stored securely, and access is time limited. Anything you upload lives in encrypted storage, and every time you or the system needs to access a file, it's through a link that expires within minutes, not a permanent public URL sitting somewhere waiting to be found.

Our own staff can't casually browse your data. Access to your workspace by our support team is restricted, logged, and, where it happens for support purposes, shows clearly on your end that someone is assisting you, it isn't invisible.

You're in control of deletion. You can delete files, delete projects, or close your account entirely, and when you do, there's a short recovery window in case it was a mistake, after which the data is genuinely removed from our live systems.

We wrote a full, formal Data Handling Policy that covers every one of these points in complete technical and legal detail, and we'd encourage you to read it if you want the specifics. But the plain version is this: your identity is verified and then locked away, your idea is processed to help you and never anyone else, and nothing about how we built this platform assumes you'll never check.
